Movie Theater Cracks Down on Bootlegging |

The Freezing Pointe Movie Theater on First Street has increased the number of ushers in their movie theaters to crack down on the recent trend of bootlegging.
"People are constantly sneaking cameras in here," says Willie, a ticketperson at the theater. "I've tried to stop them, but how much can just one person do?"
Signs are posted throughout the theater prohibiting cameras and recording devices, and ushers will routinely walk through the theaters during showtimes to make sure no one has gotten past them.
After being thrown out of the theater for bringing a video camera, local resident Ross had this to say: "Listen, I wasn't trying to record any movies in there! We're making a commercial, a movie in fact, about the town, and we just wanted some footage of the theater! Okay, roll camera! So... this is Ron Hopper, local news reporter for the Freezing Pointe Press.. what do you have to say to our viewers?"
No comment, Ross. |
